I love music! Outside of my work and family life, there is nothing I’d rather do than go see one of my favorite bands playing a club, amphitheater or arena. I have been fortunate throughout my career to be able to incorporate music into many of the brands I’ve worked for. Over the past years, I’ve created and managed over 40 large-scale music festivals and promoted or sponsored hundreds more. My first large scale music event was the Shiner Bocktoberfest Music Festival, which ran from 1994 until 2006 and featured artists such as Robert Earl Keen, Chris Cornell (Audioslave), Joe Ely, Pat Green, Kid Rock, Lyle Lovett, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Randy Rogers, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Bob Schneider and many more.

The Music Fest in Steamboat Springs, Colorado is the longest-running annual gathering of Alternative Country Acts in the United States. Shiner was aligned with this program for over 15 years. We used the program to connect with consumers and to incentivize our distributors to hit sales quotas for the year.
